Our planet needs us.

Actions change the world, opinions don't

This project was born from the need for people like you and me to help our planet now.

When my brother and I started this project in May 2024, our area recorded unprecedented temperatures - we've had over 20 days with temperatures above 104°F-113°F and heat indexes of 122°F-127°F.

Last year in 2023, during my free time, I planted about 40 trees in available spaces, but many didn't survive due to lack of watering. This is where the idea came from - we all need to contribute, not just with a grain of sand, but with drops of water, because climate change is real.

Fortunately, many people across Mexico have joined the initiative to plant trees around homes and public spaces, but we need more.

We need your help with some drops of water.

We are not alone

We share our world with diverse species that maintain ecological balance. Climate change disrupts their ecosystems too, potentially creating worse consequences than we already face.

Take care of them

Leave a better world

By working together, we can take action to reduce the effects of climate change.

With small actions, we can make a big difference.

Turn Off the Lights

Almost 40% of the electricity we use worldwide comes from highly polluting sources like coal and oil. Leaving lights or electrical devices on when they're not needed contributes to air pollution with CO2, which warms the planet.

Use Public Transportation

Vehicles that run on gasoline produce 25% of the CO2 released into the atmosphere worldwide. Using public transportation, walking, or biking when possible helps reduce pollution and CO2 emissions.

Deforestation

Every year, 10 million hectares of forest are lost. Stopping deforestation is a goal we must achieve to ensure the survival of ecosystems, as they help reduce the CO2 that causes global warming.

Reforestation

A tree can absorb between 10 kg and 30 kg of CO2 per year. With every tree lost, the amount of CO2 removed from the air decreases, which increases global warming. Take care of them, prune them, but don’t kill them.

It's Not All About Beef

Reduce your meat consumption (especially beef), as cows produce a lot of methane when digesting food—around 32% of the global total. You can alternate with other meats like chicken, fish, pork, turkey, etc.

Single-Use Plastics

Like bags, styrofoam, cups, straws, etc. These are mainly made from petrochemicals. Over time, sunlight and heat turn them into microplastics that end up in the water we drink and inside our bodies and associated with various types of cancer☠. Try not to use them.
